About

About The Award

🧻 The Bad Writing Award is an annual Award that seeks to celebrate, lampoon and otherwise ridicule the very best of the worst of scholarly and academic writing.

The nomination process is open to all and anyone can make a single nomination, and those who would like to support the Award will be able to make up to six nominations.

The winner will be decided by a panel of judges that will be made up of a voluntary body of distinguished writers, journalists, academics, critics and cultural commentators from across the political spectrum with the panel line-up changing every year. The juries will be drawn from such organisations as the Xxxxx xxxxx xxxx xxxxx, the Xxxxx xxxxx xxxx xxxxx and the Xxxxx xxxxx xxxx xxxxx.

The Awards winner will receive a specially designed trophy and, if funds allow, any prize money given will be donated towards whatever organisation or individuals that best ameliorates the negative effects of the winners writings. In this way the Award will seek to positively contribute to our shared culture.
